BIO

William is a graduate of the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program in Seattle, Washington, as well as the University of California Film Scoring Program in Los Angeles, CA, from which he graduated with honors. William has scored films that have played in festivals around the world.

His first solo score outing was on the short horror film Mundane Margery which premiered at the October Evening Arts Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah. The score was recorded at Seattle University's Media Production Center using all student musicians. William was hired to compose additional music for the feature length 80’s-style sci-fi film Point B (dir. Conor Long) which played at film festivals around the United States before being released on DVD by Synkronized Films.

William scored a Twilight Zone-esque short film about love and loss entitled 8:AM (dir. Emily Pando) that was selected for the Seattle and the Cleveland International Film Festival and the Death Salon Film Festival in Houston, Texas. William teamed up again with Conor Long on Mortal Coil, a monster film that harkens the John Carpenter era of horror scoring. It won Best Short Film at FilmQuest in Utah and also was selected for the Studio City Film Festival and the Pasadena International Film Festival.

It was through the festival circuits that linked William up with director Nick Patch, with whom he has completed three short films—the high-octane thriller Prey, the chilling revenge horror of Resurgence, and most recently the gutting drama Choice, currently in post-production.

William is currently working on an immersive art gallery show with artist Greg Lancaster in Portland, OR and has recently scored promotional videos for Osmose Design and Earth Art Collectives in Chicago. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Los Angeles, CA.
